Summer Sabbath

Sabbath: a time of rest and worship.

“… a Sabbath rest remains for God’s people. For the person who has entered his rest has rested from his own works, just as God did from His. Let us, then, make every effort to enter that rest… “

Beginning July 5th, we will enter into a season known as “Summer Sabbath”. During this time (July 5th-August 2nd), there will be no 9:00 am hour*. Each Sunday, join us for Family Worship at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary, with Harbor Kids provided for babies-twos. These Family Worship services will be intentionally planned as multigenerational gatherings.

This season will allow our church time to rest and gear up for a strong start to the new school year, which we will kick off with a Lifegroup Relaunch Potluck and Back to School Sunday on August 9^th.

*No Adult Lifegroups, Harbor Students, or Harbor Kids will take place at 9 am. Harbor Kids, ages 3 and up, will be joining us in the Sanctuary for Family Worship at 10:30 am.

July 15^th – Game Night—6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
(Games will be provided. Feel free to bring a snack/finger-food to share)

July 19^th – Family Meeting—After Service
(This meeting will be an abbreviated business meeting)

July 19^th – Summer Beach Celebration
(4:30 pm Fellowship | 6:00 pm Beach Baptisms)

August 5^th – Prayer Night—6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

August 9^th – 9 am Relaunch | Lifegroup Potlucks
